Orbit Culture Strike a "Nerve" with Their New Single and Visualizer

We’re exactly one month out from the release of Swedish metal outfit Orbit Culture‘s new album Death Above Life. And with that milestone now firmly in the band’s grasp, they’ve released a new single, this time it’s “Nerve”.

Released in conjunction with a 3D visualizer, the track is melodic death metal with a level of groove that’s sure to get your head moving as you listen. The riffs in particular are pretty fucking tasty on this one.

With today’s release, the band commented on the track, stating that they’ve actually had this song in their back pocket for a while now.

“With ‘Nerve,’ we’re leaning back towards the older ORBIT CULTURE sound, blending in cleaner choruses and a twist at the end. This track has been with us for years — we just didn’t know what to do with it, especially since the verses felt a bit uncharacteristic for us. But that’s exactly what we ended up loving about it. Visually, the song felt too ‘larger-than-life’ for a standard performance video. After years of bouncing ideas with Miles Skarin at Crystal Spotlight, we knew this was the perfect track to bring into a fully realized 3-D world.”

Death Above Life will be available on October 3 via Century Media Records, but you can preorder your copy today.
