Introducing The Doo Wop Project: Reviving the Golden Era of Harmony

If you’re craving that nostalgic rush of smooth harmonies and heartfelt rhythms, look no further than The Doo Wop Project—a dynamic ensemble that’s breathing new life into the classic sounds of the 1950s and beyond. Formed over a decade ago, this supergroup of Broadway veterans draws inspiration from the street-corner singers of yesteryear, like The Del-Vikings, The Marcels, and The Tymes. What started as a passion project among stars from hit shows like Jersey Boys and Motown: The Musical has evolved into a nationwide phenomenon, complete with a hit PBS special, five albums, and sold-out tours across the country. Their mission? To preserve the authentic essence of Doo Wop while innovating with “Doo Wopified” takes on modern hits, bridging generations and keeping the genre’s joyful spirit alive for fans old and new.
