Pop artist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Ava Della Pietra captures one of the most relatable friendship dilemmas – your best friend falling in love and suddenly, you’re the third wheel. With her new single “Single For Life,” Ava delivers a sparkling, funny and heartfelt anthem for anyone who’s ever watched their ride-or-die get a boyfriend and everything changes.

“‘Single For Life’ is about that moment when your best friend falls in love, and suddenly it’s not just the two of you anymore,” Ava shares. “Even though you promised to be single forever, things change. It’s a love letter to friendship, full of humor, honesty, and a little heartbreak.”

The official video brings the song’s message to life in cinematic style. Opening at a dreamy slumber party-turned-jealousy spiral, Ava watches her bestie trade ice cream and pillow talk for her new boyfriend. From there, she endures a hilariously awkward speed-dating montage shirtless flexors and iguana guys included), dances it out with her crew, and signs off  with a wink – maybe her “single for life” era isn’t forever  after all. With bright choreography, playful storytelling, and Ava’s signature humor and heart, it’s her most relatable video yet.

Produced by Alex Koste (Cheat Codes, Loote), “Single For Life” blends clever, conversational lyrics with high gloss pop production. It’s big, catchy and bursting with personality – a track that will make you laugh, nod in recognition, and hit repeat.

At just 20 years old, Ava has already released 21 singles, written over 150 original songs, and independently built a fanbase with 27M+ global streams and 1.5M+ followers across platforms. Her collaborators include chart-topping producers like Jon Levine (Dua Lipa), Will Hicks (Ed Sheeran), Shane Stevens (Ariana Grande), and Nash Overstreet (Meghan Trainor, Taylor Swift).

“Single For Life” follows a string of standout releases – “2 Can Play,” “Moon Over Capri,” and “Marionette” – each showing a new side of Ava’s artistry. Her videos have earned recognition at over a dozen international film festivals, with “Marionette” winning Best Pop Music Video and Best North America Music Video at the International Music Video Awards, among others.
