From Plastic Axe, a review of the Omega GM-1, a system for connecting a real drum set to Rock Band or Guitar Hero. Retailing for $250, the GM-1 includes a set of triggers that are mounted to the rims and cymbals of a real kit. The GM-1 then connects to a Guitar Hero World Tour drum set via included MIDI cable (or to a Mad Catz portable Rock Band set, with an optional adapter). Is it worth the money? You’ll have to watch to find out.
