For much of the rollout behind RE/SOLVE, 2ŁØT has explored resilience from several different angles. Songs like “Iris” leaned toward hope, while “I Hurt Myself Again” wrestled with accountability. Their latest single, “Lose My Mind,” shifts the focus once again, settling into the uneasy emotional space that often arrives after a relationship ends.

Instead of chasing an explosive chorus or framing heartbreak as a dramatic event, the band lets the song unfold gradually. Pulsing electronic rhythms, blurred vocal textures, and restrained production create an atmosphere that feels suspended in time. It’s a track that captures rumination rather than resolution.

That sense of repetition is central to the song. The recurring phrase, “Watching me lose my mind,” lands less like a grand statement and more like the intrusive thought that keeps resurfacing. The production reinforces that cycle, allowing ideas to repeat without feeling stagnant.

The single also illustrates what has become one of 2ŁØT’s defining strengths. The group’s self-described Electronic Jam Music approach comfortably borrows from electronic pop, alternative R&B, funk, soul, and improvisational traditions without sounding like a collage of disconnected influences. Even when the arrangements remain understated, there’s a noticeable sense of movement underneath.

“Lose My Mind” arrives as the eighth preview of RE/SOLVE, due July 31. The album appears designed as a continuous emotional journey, with vocalist Rudy Love Jr. describing its sequencing as a mythic cycle of reflection, transformation, and personal growth. Rather than presenting isolated singles, each release has revealed another piece of that broader narrative.

The project has also drawn attention for its wide-ranging list of collaborators. Throughout the campaign, 2ŁØT has worked with artists including Jon Batiste, Eric Krasno, Robert Randolph, Elise Trouw, Cameron McCloud, Frank Moka, and members of The Funky Knuckles, while collaborations with Steve Aoki, Aloe Blacc, Paul Oakenfold, Michael Kang, and Albert Harvey have further demonstrated the band’s willingness to move between musical communities.

With festival appearances scheduled throughout the year, including upcoming performances at Breakaway in Philadelphia and Houston, 2ŁØT continues building an audience both on stage and in the studio. If “Lose My Mind” is any indication, RE/SOLVE may be less interested in providing easy answers than in honestly documenting the emotional process of finding them.
