What’s a little more sunlight among metal fans, eh? Why not add a second Tool concert on the island state of the U.S., Hawaii? Because that’s exactly what happened earlier today, as the band announced they’ll be playing a second show the day after their previously announced gig.
As mentioned with the previous announcement, Tool hasn’t played Hawaii since 2011. That’s a long ass time for a band to be missing, but you gotta remember that it’s generally a long ass time between Tool records, so yeah, it makes sense.
The two Hawaii dates are as follows:
- 12/19 Blaisdell Arena, Honolulu, HI
- 12/20 Blaisdell Arena, Honolulu, HI
An exclusive pre-sale for Tool Army members will run from Aug. 13 at 10 a.m. through Aug. 14 at 10 p.m. local time. Anyone that picked up tickets for the first show will have early acess to purchase tickets to the new date as well with an exclusive pre-sale available for them on Aug. 14 at 10 a.m. local time.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. local time.
