Upcoming Rare Space Events 2026- 2030 🤯 #astronomy

We’re officially halfway through the 2020s, and the next five years in space are going to be wild! In early 2025, six planets will line up in the sky in a rare parade.

Then, in August 2026, a total solar eclipse will be visible over Greenland, Iceland, and parts of Europe. But things get even crazier in 2027, when a massive asteroid—over a kilometer long—will pass just 300,000 km from Earth.

In 2028, NASA plans to land astronauts on the Moon’s South Pole for the first time ever. And in 2029, an asteroid the size of a skyscraper will zoom by Earth closer than some satellites!
