How many overweight people in this movie?
As a X Straight Edge X meat eater I advice punk rockers to investigate the dark side of veganism, go beyond the cult. It's a subpar diet that in the long term will wreak havok on your physical and mental health. Be warned! Plants are trying to kill you.

Great movie, so inspiring! I used to think that Veganism was the ultimate form of "conforming" to trends. Then when I went Vegan, I realised that it was the complete opposite all along. Regardless though of whether it is "conformist" or not, is not even the issue. The issue is whether it is right or wrong, and using animals in anyway for our own self-pleasure is undeniably wrong.
Conflict were mentioned? They inspired everyone to give up meat and think about this. I first saw them in 1984, and their entire stage was bedecked in ALF banners. They needed a bigger mention here.

Kinda wish Rudimentary Peni was included in film, but I loved it anyways.
Hearing ‘Pig in a blanket’ when I was a teenager was the first time I had ever heard animal rights being sang about, and it made veganism cool to my teenage mind.
Straight Edge needs to make a come back. So tired of these crazy reports of the violence of drunks, and growing number of users, every other ad is some kind of alcohol. There is no mystery here and the growing corruption, these people fight so hard for what is destroying themselves. It is sad and disgusting.

I've got my ticket for the UK SUBS last ever gig because Charlie Harper is retiring, it's sad but he has earned his rest time.
The UK also had its own proto-punk scene with bands like the Pink fairies and Mick Farrens Deviants as well as Eddie & the Hot rods, Dr Feel good & The 101'ers to name a few.
It sounds soppy but it's hard to imagine how much open love animals will give their 'owner'/friend, their ego's (yes animals have ego's) aren't affected by their open displays of love and affection. Recieving an animals love is a wonderful thing, when they love you, you know it.
At Reading 'festival ' in 1987 I couldn't find anything to eat till one burger van said "we do veggie burgers" Great! I thought till I realised that my 'veggie burger' was a slice of plastic cheese and some onions in a bun, but, at least having something to laugh at made me forget how hungry I was.😂

Hears my (even before the opening credits have finished) lame arse excuse for not being vegan…..on one hand ignoring the health benefits of veganism and on the other hand (which is particularly obvious in Australia) the massive amount of environmental distruction that corporate agriculture has caused. It's utterly destroyed so much endemic ecological biodiversity hear. Broad acher mono cropping season after season is fucking insane. Australian farming practices with farming exotic hard hoofed animals on soil structures that didn't evolve with such animals after they have stripped the indigenous vegetation that holds and maintains the soil structure. Not to mention the wide spread use of super phosphate, it's truly criminal. Anyway I forgot what my point way. O yeah moby is really wealth and probably has a personal assistant and chef and gardener and cleaner and doesn't have to work for a living and doesn't have a meth addiction. Makes being a vegan much easier for rich people. Told you it was a lame excuse.

you'll never see this post, but as a kid as part of the skinheads against racial prejudice scene with my docs and flight jacket going to these hardcore shows to see almost all the bands in your movie, and being in a band that wanted to be death metal but could not resist my idea to be a hardcore band. i was the biggest hater against computer generated music, non meat eaters , straightedge. That all changed because of you, ray cappo, and Ian amongst quite a few others. my apologies to all the stuff i said about you and NIN back then :). i didnt become good at my computer produced music, but i learned and it became A passion to use FLstudio and reason, and now reaper to make music. It also broadened my perspective of why people become vegan or became straight edge. I am not either, I am weak. I also dont know that i agree about we aren't meant to eat meat as humans. slaughter industry is a different story all together, that is pure disgusting profiting on the mass inhumane torture of animals for profit. The biggest lesson i learned from punk rockhardcore was that everyone has a belief, and you should always hear them out without discrediting them straight away. discussion without judgement. Thank you Moby for inspiring and enlightening.

Ive been vegetarian for almost 11 years, and I just went vegan this winter and I couldnt be happier with my choice. All in all im trying to stop purchasing items from damaging brand and companies, for the animals, people, and the environment. 💚🌼🎸

I became a vegetarian at 14 years old (I'm 28 now) right after seeing slaughterhouse pictures at an animal rights activists' stand. I'm not huge into punk music, but come to think of it, I probably wouldn't have flipped the switch so abruptly if I wasn't such a big fan of the Donots at the time. I knew that 4 of the 5 of them were vegetarians.
