He seems ok these days but we can't forget that his brother was a sick person. He physically and sexually assaulted a lot of people. Maybe if someone offered the perspective of "how do you think your mother felt when she was assaulted?" to him he would have changed. I corresponded with Merle around late 94…..finally saw the Murder Junkies …11-2-97….day3 of Halloween weekend Expo Extreme…..met Merle face to face …He asked me if i flew …..i told hell no took a express bus for mexican migrant workers….he said i was a true Murder Junkies fan ….i felt complemented….but ive seen the Murder Junkies 7 times 97 Chicago…..SATX,02,06,07,16,17,19……seen some half decent sick crazy shit at the shows….no dull moments.. …one thing for sure the Murder Junkies are a tight band real good punk band live …I seen Texas shows really get packed…..and rowdy as hell.

I am at the moment struggling with a heavy addiction to codeine and a recovering alcoholic. And I have Borderline personality disordered. Struggled with major mental illness for most of my life. I am slowly trying to wean myself off codeine and its real hell, a real struggle. I am waiting to hear from a detox clinic so right now im on my own with this, and im telling you part of my therapy right now is soft white underbelly. It is a huge source of help, relief and wisdom. You know sometimes you see someone dressed really weirdly and you know it’s fake, feels unnatural and it doesn’t suit the person. That’s not the case here! You can feel that it’s really him, not a disguise, not fake.

I lived in New Hampshire for eight years from Bristol to tuftonboro but I was 2 when gg died so all I ever really knew of him was he was the punk rocker who shit on stage and whipped his dick out on stage. Thanks for bringing Merle back. I know he isn't feeling well right now, and canceled the tour but my brother actually booked the murder junkies in our hometown. Merle has wrote to him for years now. I was very excited to see him. Hoping he feels better and can come play next year. Hopefully you bring him back and more punk legends on the show. I request HANK WILLIAMS III!
