As a Jewish kid growing up in the hardcore punk scene, it wasn't easy. Being racist and a piece of shit was sometimes viewed as being the ultimate punk, but in reality punk was as far from that as possible. I'm glad there are bands that openly stand up to that shit, because believe me, i've been to enough shows where they just let some real suspect shit happen without saying a word. Music is for everyone. Watching a black kid purposely get targeted in a pit by three skinheads isn't hardcore. It's straight up a hate crime. I think this shit doesn't get talked about enough. Great interview Finn. Hope you can deep dive in this scene a little more. Education is key.
